What We Are Working On

Our work functions as an interconnected ecosystem.
The COBALT Fellowship, Spirit of Place Workshops, and Bioregional Learning Journeys cultivate shared language, relationships, and place-based capacity across bioregions. Insights from this work inform the Living Atlas—an evolving platform that supports governance, learning, and decision-making.

In the Gulf of Maine bioregion, one of the most rapidly warming coastal ecosystems, Team Zostera brings these approaches into practice through community science and seagrass restoration, generating real-world knowledge that informs broader research, policy, and stewardship. Together, these initiatives reinforce one another—linking local action, shared learning, and global exchange.
